World premiere compostition for Euphonium, Tuba and Woodwinds.

On the 21st of may I will be playing a world premiere during the Dutch festival ‘Blazen aan het Spui’. Rob Goorhuis made the composition Graffiti especially for me. I asked him a couple of years ago if he could write a composition for Euphonium, Tuba and Woodwinds. This fantastic compositions was written in 2020. But because of the Covid pandemic it hasn’t been played yet. Fortunately everything is okay and we can give concerts again. We are going to play Graffiti during this festival in the new concerthall ‘Amare’ in the Hague. I will play this together with Perry Hoogendijk (Solo tubaplayer of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and the Royal Band of the Belgian Guides.
